Thought again the Dreamy Adventure World 21.6.10

CrestMaiden is encounter the food poisoning issues in previous Dreamy Adventure
well, as ALS members give some feedback or comment about the poisoning part, i start to have thought again this Dreamy Adventure about what make Crest Maiden get poison?

when the journey continue again,

Crestmaiden:  start to turn around, and see who is around... felt hungry too
Exodusor:  r u hungry?
Crestmaiden:  good day....anything to eat? i start to feel hungry, ya hungry
Crestmaiden:  shaylee momo...what food u have in ur small bag there(  start to take off bag from shaylee momo)
Crestmaiden:  pluck the blue berries and taste
Crestmaiden:  o....my.....my stomach ..........
Crestmaiden:  help .... the blue berry is rapping my leg....
(i think i am trying to say the blue berry trees is pull/drag my feet)
Crestmaiden: Lone Ranger, don;t chew the blue berry
Crestmaiden:  i am feelings unwell, I'm start to see there is 2 lone ranger

this round, Crest Maiden feeling like want to eat in this Dreamy Adventure, and after took the blue berries, get poison

i try to google, see what's the meaning 'feeling to eat/ eating in dream" means

huh???
Eating Dream Meaning
Psychological Meaning: Freud considered the mouth, through which food enters the body, to be the primary erogenous zone. Dreams of eating are therefore closely associated with sexuality. If you dream of gorging yourself it can indicate that you have an indulgent sexuality whereas dreaming of fasting or starvation may indicate that you deny your sexual needs. Eating out at restaurants is often part of couples courting rituals. In dreams meals that have an enjoyable atmosphere reflect a confirmation of intimacy with others and good social relationships. Dreaming of eating in uncomfortable or threatening surroundings may represent frigidity and unhappiness with your relationships. An alternative explanation is that eating symbolises qualities that you are making part of yourself. For example, you may be digesting some new ideas or perhaps a problem is 'eating at you'.

i was a little bit so suprise, and felt like unable to accept what this Freudian told....
was it really???
Oh MY....

but i had found another meaning on eating
Eating food can represent:
Nourishing the body, mind, emotions, soul, or spirit
Hunger or low blood sugar while you're sleeping
Consider the food you are eating in the dream, its meaning, and how you feel about it.

o no...

and then, the sounds...

Onefoolishother:  Yes, tell us more about the sound, where does it come from....inside or outside of yourself?
Crestmaiden:  i donno ....just a sounds tells sorrow...upsad...and speechless in her voice... not sure the sounds were from outside? or inside??kind of blur... can't recall whether it is inside or outside...
Crestmaiden:  shaylee and loneranger, have u all hear the sounds like mine?
Exodusor:  can u describe the sound a bit more?
Onefoolishother:  Sorry, Crest, i am not trying to confuse you, if you listen in silence, perhaps you may be able to distinguish the two.
Onefoolishother:  The sound fo water....yes../...i hear that too...listen, something is vibrating beneath the pool, could it be the sound of Kura, the tutrle we are looking for
Crestmaiden:  is a sweetest sounds but feels like so lonely, sorrowful, and seems like wanted someone to understand and helping , iguess..if shaylee and lone ranger can't hear the sound, it come from inside
..................
Crestmaiden:  keep silent....think to herself, how the sounds come from, and try to recall the sound
walk to poolside, sit down at the rock, close her eyes...and try to listen again, recall what's the sounds like
Crestmaiden:  what is the sounds so sorrowful? droping tears from eyes...feels touching

what is this meant?
where is the sound? what is the sound represent? my inner voice? or what?
when OFO asked the Crest Maiden to tell about where the sound come from, Crest also not sure whether it is from inside or outside....

this is a interesting part i think i can explore more
WHat makes Crest Maiden only hearing the sad sound, and not the happy sound?
How was this connect to Crest Maiden, as she had dropes her tears? is it tears of sadness?touch?
where the sounds come from anyway?

hmm..... gotta stop now....
is a journey of transition? a dream?
and the light from the palace? what's inside there?

I'm feeling to Sick

Guess what? i am feeling sick....
yesterday night, after buying some stuff from supermarket,
suddenly i feel the pain with my stomach
o... it's my menstrual period ,  and this round....it's early several days

i feel dizzy, and really paleness.... just feeling to want to sleep
then, i am having Sore throat this  morning
i am so tired, at yesterday night after reaching home around 9.00 pm
i can't make myself for discussion...though i want to get online
i am fall asleep

maybe this is the indicator to show that i need some break
things move too fast, things come into without following any signs
yet, work still need to done.
few happening cases is in control
though i might say i am feeling fine, i still can handle it
but,
my unconscious, my body, give me some sign...
if you not take any break, you might feeling to sick
what a "good poison"
the awareness come in
i am mindful again....

still no any feedback from my upper management level whether i would be request to follow-up the 9 years old case. but If i have choice, this round i do not want to receive it. pass to others people. as in my workplace, got 9 of us, 6 of them is registered counsellor. i guess, they can handle it very  well... isn't it.
in this dramatic role playing.... i am not wanting myself roleplaying as "counsellor"
but at this moment, i just want to be x10 who want some time to rest.

can i say, this is from the invisible to visible scene,
that i want HOLIDAY?
though i still have 32 days annual leave, but seems like not playing good role?
gotta apply leave and step out from Penang, i guess :)
hahaha

Thank you ALS members, especially Melinda, Phaik Nee, Elaine
who are so concern about me. And Thank you Alex Sifu, Priscilla to give me some idea.
WHY worry? it will comes, and it will goes... and it will moved again....won't be static there
so, just RELAX.....
and
wait and see

21.6.10:dreamy adventure again

this round, Crest Maiden is getting trouble
she ate the blue berry and got food poison
and it's really a hard one...
she get giddy, paleness, week, and also vomit...
gosh~~ not sure what's the blue berry is? OFO mentioned that she had ate but is OK?

and in the memory, Crest Maiden hearing the sounds..which is so sorrowful
i wonder. who sounds is that???
WHY sorrowful? WHY sad? is it the sounds from deepest heart within myself?
what i am upsad for? what make me felt so sorrowful?

hmmm.... it's really weird
then, no body want to go into water... and finally Lone ranger did.
Crest Maiden felt like being support, and follow Lone Ranger to this adventure
diving under the pool... it's a really big
the world from the land and the water world is so different

looking around, enjoying, being calm and peace
not really felt upsad. is a feeling of belonging
am i belong to this sea?to this water world?
i see the ray of light, from the palace
a very nice one........
i m wondering, what will go next?

i am asking myself
What's the meaning of the light?
what's the KURA is?
What makes me follow LR/OFO/Fidget/Shayleemomo step?
what‘s the connection with me and the KURA?
what will i discover in this dreamy adventure land?

Adolescence transition

i try to google and search for the adolescence transition and see what kind of rituals they going through. for myself, i didn't go much on that...my family do not have the practice....so unlucky
below is link for the article i am able to find, and it contains about fews part of  topic
Adolescence - Puberty, Cognitive transition, Emotional transition, Social transition

For most people, there are four or five such stages of growth where they learn certain things: -
infancy (birth to age two),
early childhood (ages 3 to 8 years), l
ater childhood (ages 9 to 12) and
adolescence (ages 13 to 18).
Persons 18 and over are considered adults in our society.

Of course, there are some who will try to act older than their years. But, for the most part, most everybody grows in this same pattern. Parents learn much about taking care of their babies and young children.

Adolescents face a range of developmental issues. Havighurst (1952) suggested that two important areas included work and relationships. Levinson (1978) focused on changing relationships and on exploration, while Erikson (1968) commented on intimacy and commitment to goals. Super (1963) indicated that exploring and crystallizing vocational choice are important to older adolescents and young adults

i think for transition, maybe can focused on children from primary school to secondary school
start to mixd with different gender?
coz i remember last time i was so shy to be friends with boy, untill my mum always say to me
do not pull hand with boy, they are bad...boy will treat u so badly.... and also do not having any love affair till u go to university....that's y i am only date with boy after university
my current bf is my 1st bf, and we know for 8 years now....
ahahaha...

now is my another transition period from single moving to "double"
i mean i will getting married soon...it's a transition period for myself
maybe still unable to seek the same place and time with my future husband
but at least, we go for same comitment and goal
life is a cirrcle, we go back to the same starting point again

the skeleton story

ow wow..wow....
what a impressive work by my team members
wahaha.... really impressive...
the story about the Dragonvile sing again...
got dying, got scarifies, got devil power, got transformation and return as mother earth
i wonder how the story go..helping to achieve the mission impossible :)

TO ALS members who work on 18th  June 2010
i send my apologies, as i am not able to attend cos i am rushing to KL
This i s really interesting when i read the story by ALS members, Mary, Melinda and Elaine.
The transition period in life have so many stages...but this round, Alex Chew asked us to focus more on children and adolescent work.

In the study of child development, adolescence refers to the second decade of the life span, roughly from ages 10 to 20. The word adolescence is Latin in origin, derived from the verb adolescere, which means "to grow into adulthood." In all societies, adolescence is a time of growing up, of moving from the immaturity of childhood into the maturity of adulthood.

Storyline discussed by Melinda and the team is about story with crisis, accpetance, rejection, and i had read Elaine blog about girls who first encoutner "period"

another issues i had think of, intimacy, pubby love?
like first dating with gf/bf
and if boy, male teenagers who first encounter masturbation? or having affair or sexual intercourse? how might that experience might be when having fantasy of big breast?
hmm..unlucky, if got male ALS members can asked more about that.
haha..

maybe Alex can help answer??

Hi all

I thought I better sent this out so that you have the chance to have a look at it and formulate any questions you may have when we meet for our tutorial on Wednesday. Could you please start before me. I will join you all at 8.30pm. This will give you some time as an ALS group to consider the task at hand. You may also note I have moved the submission dates to allow the group time for the task.

Best wishes

Alex

Mission Code Name: Operation Heroes in Transitions
The scenario
Developmental transitions are critical periods of change in the lives of children as they negotiate through the complexity of not only the demands of physiological changes but more importantly, social and psychological ones as well. Normally, the cultural and socially constructed drama found in traditional rites of passage would suffice in providing the symbolic bridge in allowing the individual a meaningful medium to become accustomed to their new role responsibility and role expectations in finding a place within their respective society. Contemporary modern society have discarded many of the traditional rites of passage and values and have left a large number of people bereft of such supportive structures in their development. This may have contributed to the alienation experienced by a large number of adolescent as they struggled to find meaning and a ‘place’ within our contemporary modern societies. The ‘alienation’ has a part to play in the increasing social and psychological dis-ease experienced by this group e.g. teenage depression and suicide, drug and alcohol consumption etc.

As a group of Creative Arts Therapy workers, your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to provide a creative solution that would help to alleviate the potential pitfalls and to provide a supportive psychological structure, in the absence of a traditional rite of passage for the individual negotiate the critical phase from childhood to adulthood.
Dramatherapy through the use scripted role playing is an avenue which you will be working as a group to explore and implement. Drawn from your understanding of the therapeutic potential inherent in action methods and in the use of metaphors and symbols within the narrative, the group will work towards the development a ‘working package’ where it can be delivered by those who work with that particular age group.

Your ‘working package’ will contain a 3 Act Script of not more than 9 A4 pages, a props box itemising its contents, facilitator sheet with the aims and objectives of the role play, a list of reflective questions which the facilitator could use for further group discussion and reflection, some suggestions for warm-up and closure activities related to the dramatic role play.

You will deem to have accomplished your mission when your group has

Produce a 3 Act Script, not exceeding 9 A4 pages; A itemized ‘Props Box’; A facilitator sheet outlining the aims and objectives for the Dramatic Role Play, Suggestions for Warm-up and Closure activities related to dramatic role playing, A list of interactive questions for group discussions and reflections on the themes of the narrative.

Bonus points – Additional commendation will be given if the project includes a video of the dramatic role playing being executed. This is not compulsory though very welcomed. Some pointers and areas which will considered in relation to project are suggested below

  • How do you use the ‘Hero’s Journey’ or Monomyth as a possible template in developing your script for dramatic role playing?
  • How do you decide on the context (Sci-Fi; Animals, Legends, Fairy Tales, etc) for your scripted play in order to be accessible for appropriate gender, culture and age of the role players of your target groups?
  • Is the scripted dialogue appropriate for the language ability of your targeted group?
  • If you decide to work with groups with limited literacy skills, what adaptation would you suggest to the facilitator?
  • Is the script able to fully utilized and embed the implicit metaphors and symbols within the narratives?
  • Are the themes within the story able to resonate with the themes of the developmental tasks of the transition between childhood and adulthood?
  • Are the warm-up and closure activities related to enhancing and enabling the tasks of dramatic role playing e.g. rituals, role preparation and inhabitation, role debriefing and deroling etc.?
  • Are the props suggested easily available or easily constructed and would enhance the players to get into their characters?
  • Do the reflective questions provide the possible integration and links to be made between dramatic reality and everyday reality?
The deadline for this mission is 18th July 2010.

Good luck!

PS: Document your process, the learning gained through self-reflections in your blogs as you undertake this mission.

O My... what a busy and heavy scedule of mine...

this is going to be really really interesting
How the ALS members going to do this??
OH MY......

3rd online group RPW: Dreamy Adventure

Crestmaiden: i thought it's something in the centre of the pool, i thought there is something there, and i want u all come and have a look

*          *             *                 *              *              *           *                 *

When i am roleplay in Dreamy Adventure, it is  more able to role it out.
I find it's a bit hard to role play, and i am conscious type people
i think i am the time keeper and always plan what i want to do accordingly
in this Dreamy Adventure, sometimes i fins it is so unsecure, i am not sure who and what will be there for me

in previous session, i try to connect with the call, by creating the movement in pool... and also mentioned about seven bridge colour from the sky in the middle of the pool
and this round, i am keep playing with the wind on my hand,
and i make a scene in the  middle of the pool
wondering what will be under the pool
will there be any entrance? or some clue? WHY Crest maiden was away from her journey??
and Crest maiden start to love the world

Crest maiden felt abit sorry with what happend to Shaylee MoMo
and she also try to connect the call of OFO
but never be the same....

when i look at this picture, Crest Maiden who is always love to play
try to play around and also searching... its really a time for her like wanted go around...
It reminds me back to the 1st session role play with Dreamy Adventure,

Crest Maiden: (think inside mind: hmmm...what make us here, there must be some hidden meaning....... 7....colours..... why seven,?..........) Crest Maiden start to think and quiet herself while

(comments from Alex:
Hopefully the group can get back into gear…..!n happen in teh OK?his world?? pool and as it clear, an outline of a stranger emerges from the ut from the poor small talk ….. akin to social gathering….. rather than tuning into the dramatic story line in character….?anxiety …)

The group didn't give any feedback and keep ignoring what thoughts from me,
and i decided not too press too much on this again, and this round Elaine, she pick up the call and asked me to think further about the call
anyway, it makes me feel ease and loose
cos i feel a little release, as this Dreamy Adventure World in Chatango allow me to run away from the reality
i can feels Crest maiden is so freely just wanderign aound, doing nothing and just keep busy with people around her...
haha

Joseph Campbell vs Monomyth

This is first time i hearing this name : Joseph Campbell (1904-1987)
In the write up of Melinda, Monomyth-Joseph Campbell
i gain some idea, and also knowing this name, and the character.

i try to google more information and learn about his background
http://www.kirjasto.sci.fi/campb.htm

American writer on mythology and comparative religion who gained fame with such works as THE HERO WITH A THOUSAND FACES (1948), an examination of the archetype of the hero, THE MASKS OF GOD (1959-1968), exploring the complex mythological heritage and its implications for modern humanity, and the multi-volume HISTORICAL ATLAS OF WORLD MYTHOLOGY (1989), of which only the sections on the early stages of human culture were completed.

i can say, he's life was a passionate intellectual journey and was a masterful storyteller
" Campbell's comparative historical approach to mythology, religion, and literature, in contrast to the conventional scholar's emphasis on cultural differences, concentrated on similarities. He was convinced that the common themes or archetypes in our sacred stories and images transcended the variations or cultural manifestations. Moreover he believed that a re-viewing of such primordial images in mythology as the hero, death and resurrection, the virgin birth, and the promised land--the universal aspects of the soul, the blood memories--could reveal our common psychological roots. They could even show us, as seen from below, how the soul views itself. "
quote from
Phil Cousineau, Introduction, The Hero's Journey: Joseph Campbell on His Life and Work, pp. xi-xiv.

Monomyth also referred to as the hero's journey , the meaning of monomyth is "A hero ventures forth from the world of common day into a region of supernatural wonder: fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won: the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man" - Joseph Campbell , his summarized in the introduction to The Hero with a Thousand Faces

Campbell describes a number of stages or steps along this journey.
  • The hero starts in the ordinary world, and receives a call to enter an unusual world of strange powers and events (a call to adventure).
  • If the hero accepts the call to enter this strange world, the hero must face tasks and trials (a road of trials), and may have to face these trials alone, or may have assistance.
  • At its most intense, the hero must survive a severe challenge, often with help earned along the journey.
  • If the hero survives, the hero may achieve a great gift (the goal or "boon"), which often results in the discovery of important self-knowledge.
  • The hero must then decide whether to return with this boon (the return to the ordinary world), often facing challenges on the return journey.
  • If the hero is successful in returning, the boon or gift may be used to improve the world (the application of the boon).
Campbell describes some 17 stages or steps along this journey. Very few myths contain all 17 stages — some myths contain many of the stages, while others contain only a few; some myths may have as a focus only one of the stages, while other myths may deal with the stages in a somewhat different order. These 17 stages may be organized in a number of ways, including division into three sections: Departure (sometimes called Separation), Initiation, and Return. "Departure" deals with the hero's adventure prior to the quest; "Initiation" deals with the hero's many adventures along the way; and "Return" deals with the hero's return home with knowledge and powers acquired on the journey.

First Stage:  Departure

1. The Call to Adventure

The hero starts off in a mundane situation of normality from which some information is received that acts as a call to head off into the unknown.

2. Refusal of the Call
Often when the call is given, the future hero refuses to heed it. This may be from a sense of duty or obligation, fear, insecurity, a sense of inadequacy, or any of a range of reasons that work to hold the person in his or her current circumstances

3. Supernatural Aid
Once the hero has committed to the quest, consciously or unconsciously, his or her guide and magical helper appears, or becomes known. More often than not, this supernatural mentor will present the hero with one or more talismans or artifacts that will aid them later in their quest.

4. The Crossing of the First Threshold
This is the point where the person actually crosses into the field of adventure, leaving the known limits of his or her world and venturing into an unknown and dangerous realm where the rules and limits are not known.

5. Belly of The Whale
The belly of the whale represents the final separation from the hero's known world and self. By entering this stage, the person shows willingness to undergo a metamorphosis.

Second Stage: Initiation
6. The Road of Trials
The road of trials is a series of tests, tasks, or ordeals that the person must undergo to begin the transformation. Often the person fails one or more of these tests, which often occur in threes.

7. The Meeting With the Goddess
This is the point when the person experiences a love that has the power and significance of the all-powerful, all encompassing, unconditional love that a fortunate infant may experience with his or her mother. This is a very important step in the process and is often represented by the person finding the other person that he or she loves most completely.

8. Woman as Temptress
This step is about those temptations that may lead the hero to abandon or stray from his or her quest, which does not necessarily have to be represented by a woman. Woman is a metaphor for the physical or material temptations of life, since the hero-knight was often tempted by lust from his spiritual journey.

9. Atonement with the Father
In this step the person must confront and be initiated by whatever holds the ultimate power in his or her life. In many myths and stories this is the father, or a father figure who has life and death power. This is the center point of the journey. All the previous steps have been moving in to this place, all that follow will move out from it. Although this step is most frequently symbolized by an encounter with a male entity, it does not have to be a male; just someone or thing with incredible power.

10. Apotheosis
When someone dies a physical death, or dies to the self to live in spirit, he or she moves beyond the pairs of opposites to a state of divine knowledge, love, compassion and bliss. A more mundane way of looking at this step is that it is a period of rest, peace and fulfillment before the hero begins the return.

11. The Ultimate Boon
The ultimate boon is the achievement of the goal of the quest. It is what the person went on the journey to get. All the previous steps serve to prepare and purify the person for this step, since in many myths the boon is something transcendent like the elixir of life itself, or a plant that supplies immortality, or the holy grail.

Third Stage: Return
12. Refusal of the Return
Having found bliss and enlightenment in the other world, the hero may not want to return to the ordinary world to bestow the boon onto his fellow man.

13. The Magic Flight
Sometimes the hero must escape with the boon, if it is something that the gods have been jealously guarding. It can be just as adventurous and dangerous returning from the journey as it was to go on it.

14. Rescue from Without
Just as the hero may need guides and assistants to set out on the quest, oftentimes he or she must have powerful guides and rescuers to bring them back to everyday life, especially if the person has been wounded or weakened by the experience.

15. The Crossing of the Return Threshold
The trick in returning is to retain the wisdom gained on the quest, to integrate that wisdom into a human life, and then maybe figure out how to share the wisdom with the rest of the world. This is usually extremely difficult.

16. Master of Two Worlds
This step is usually represented by a transcendental hero like Jesus or Buddha. For a human hero, it may mean achieving a balance between the material and spiritual. The person has become comfortable and competent in both the inner and outer worlds.

17. Freedom to Live
Mastery leads to freedom from the fear of death, which in turn is the freedom to live. This is sometimes referred to as living in the moment, neither anticipating the future nor regretting the past.

about to begins- the Monomyth

haiz.... i would like to start read about his, but my heavy daily workload had not allowed me to do it at th moment. i would like to convey my thankfulness to Melinda who start to do the write up. it really give me some idea about what i am going to read....

later ya, monomyth
i will find sometime to read after i settle my storytelling project on 11th June 2010
OK?

ritual of entrance

Terry: I go 1st to shop.
(As usual brings all the weapons in the play box to his designated house, used the punch bag as the door to the house entrance.  This time use a towel to cover the hole of the puppet theater as the window)
Terry: You cannot enter into my house. Now I am the police you are the bad guy.
Terry: Come out of you house and buy food.
M: Buy food for myself.
Terry: Every time you holds food, I will shoot from my house, and the food fall down. Bang-bang
I shot your head.
M: I am hurt in my head, do I have to go to see a doctor.
Terry: Go to see a doctor, never mind you are okay now. Now let’s play slow fighting, with sword. Chang-Chang….
Terry: I put magic to my sword.
M: Cheang-cheang (turned one round)  you are so powerful.
Terry: Chang-chang
M: Oh your sword are so good that you have make a hole in the sand (pointed at the sand box)
(Terry turned one round)
Terry: Now come my hurricane power, if you get caught you will fly away.
M: I got your hurricane, now I am forced to blew far away.
Terry: I am using my ice power and you will be frozen if you get it.
M: Osh-osh…. Oh no, I got it now I am freeze and frozen.  I cannot moved.
Terry: Now I will come out with Fire power and you will be melting.
M: I am all wet.
Terry: Fire.
M: I am burned.
Terry: You are all wet-wet. Fire, you still stand there, you still don’t moved.
M: My ice is melting and all into water (pointing at the pool)
M: Your power is so great.
M: Your fire got my eyes, I am blind?
Terry: No, your eyes still can see, we people have 3 eyes.
M: Your power so great.
Terry: I am the Power ranger.
M: I am the monster.
Terry: I using the fire power.
M: Then I use the water power.
Terry: My fire power is the most powerful; you think that your water is great? No.
Terry: I am directing my fire to the wall behind you.
M: Oh no, it burned a hole there.
Terry: Fire.
M: It hit my leg.
Terry: Hai yeah, you have water power mah, cannot get burned lah.
M: I forgot.
Terry: Cheang-cheang, got your sword.
M: Oh no, you got my sword.
(At this moment, Terry was holding the sword, normally whenever he got hold of my weapon he will confiscate it and put it at his ‘house’ but this time, he hesitated and returned it to me.)
M: You got my sword, but you are returning it to me.  Thanks.

Ritual of entrance
who are you in this character? how is it likes?
what about me in the position? (front, side, entrance....)
describe more about the character, how the character is likes
defferentiate real self and the character, the basic rule when playing as "protagonist"

reading the client's symbol representative and also metaphors
calculating on the issues of : personal uncnscious, social and  collective unconscious

i was attracted to cheng's question
echo cheng's question, how could the therapist be more flexible "be self, and not herself" while doing role-play? should be more freely? i am asked, the therapist should allowing the character to play? and enjoy the play??

i asked another assuming questions on what if a child play as protagonist and say :“ I am Nemo, i am searching my mother, and i am lost... ..."
Alex do give me a feedback that there will be a lot of theme when children act it out?
the themes will be able to draw out what issues the child really play off

When Melinda  said: Hi Nemo I am Dory what can we do today?  or Where can we go together today?
i take the role as Nemo and reply : Hi Dory, i am lost, i afraid i can't find  a way home... but i am not scare now, as i meet u here. I hear there is a secret garden deep in the center of the sea...have u hear bout this?

Melinda answer, Dory: " No, Nemo I have short term memory lost, but I can read, do you have the address?"

Alex guide us to see the phrase of the word 'LOST" in symbolically and also metaphors, lost can be no direction, confused, no where to turn to...

the phrase 'secret garden deep in the centre of the sea" - it is so imaginative when exploration and free association work on it, it's about individuation process, the nurturing and also level of unconscious of the self.

WOW... it's really eye opener. i should allow myslef to connect with the themes more freely and do more reflection on that part

it's really help me for the reflection and also working metaphors with my client in nondirective  play or small world play.......

little thought

crest maiden had the ability to control wind, and she is able to travel across the time.
crest maiden is able to go back to the past or travel to future where she wish to go

in my real life, in reality, i dun have the POWER
to change the time, turn back time
how i wish i have ...
YES, as i seeing my client, my self, and also the Hurt that had make
i really wish i can have the power /magic to change the time/space
in fact, i am not a magician, i dun have supernatural ability
i am a ordinary human, who is always listen to different kind os issues/problem

active listening is vital role when interacting with client
when i listen to client's say. client's story
sometime, no doubtful my emotion really get distracted...
YEs, i might be cool, calm in front of client
could play very "beautiful. profesional self" project a good image and doing reflecting of the content say by client, but yet i know
inside me, is up side down....

a friends told me

the unpleasant sensational interpretation of your mind on this issue will cause your mind to harbor more hatred. Listening is purely the process of contact btw your listening senses and the sound object. Stop at that moment, then you shall be able to handle more of this tough issue in life.

i learn how to distinguished and process my own personal self and profesional self
i find that,  it's good to role play as another character somehow
while, in real life, i dun roleplay the character as counsellor,
but in real life, i just need to roleplay myself,
who is just a girl friends of someone, who is just a normal being would like to have fun, and also a daughter who always wish to go home more frequently

just a little thought
..

maybe it's coincident or consciously i choose the ability of change time.
but, i see how  the character, CREST Maiden it is related to my real self

reflection: 31.5.10

this is 2nd time i role play as Crest Maiden, entering the Dramatic Role Playing World.
I read the email from Alex quite late yesterday afternoon too. however, i didn't manage to preview all the messages. i manage to open the google docs and read some layout of the chracter procfile.  i received SMS from Melinda, and she asked to forward sms and asked to used CHANTANGO (sifu request) to use Chatango for 2nd role play.

i am late to home yesterday. as i am handling a rape case till 5.15 pm. Then, preparing my casenote, and do my weekly statistic report to hand in to my managerial department. My emotion really get distracted as i am listening to my client's story. YET, i manage to put  my emotion aside, and get in to role play.
