little thought

crest maiden had the ability to control wind, and she is able to travel across the time.
crest maiden is able to go back to the past or travel to future where she wish to go

in my real life, in reality, i dun have the POWER
to change the time, turn back time
how i wish i have ...
YES, as i seeing my client, my self, and also the Hurt that had make
i really wish i can have the power /magic to change the time/space
in fact, i am not a magician, i dun have supernatural ability
i am a ordinary human, who is always listen to different kind os issues/problem

active listening is vital role when interacting with client
when i listen to client's say. client's story
sometime, no doubtful my emotion really get distracted...
YEs, i might be cool, calm in front of client
could play very "beautiful. profesional self" project a good image and doing reflecting of the content say by client, but yet i know
inside me, is up side down....

a friends told me

the unpleasant sensational interpretation of your mind on this issue will cause your mind to harbor more hatred. Listening is purely the process of contact btw your listening senses and the sound object. Stop at that moment, then you shall be able to handle more of this tough issue in life.

i learn how to distinguished and process my own personal self and profesional self
i find that,  it's good to role play as another character somehow
while, in real life, i dun roleplay the character as counsellor,
but in real life, i just need to roleplay myself,
who is just a girl friends of someone, who is just a normal being would like to have fun, and also a daughter who always wish to go home more frequently

just a little thought
..

maybe it's coincident or consciously i choose the ability of change time.
but, i see how  the character, CREST Maiden it is related to my real self

  1. How you wish that you are crest maiden in real time to have the ability to control wind so that you can blew all the unhappiness away for your client.
How you wish that you can travel across the time like crest maiden is able to go back to the past to change the history of your client, and to the future to see whether your clients are safe.
POWER - you have in the term of MINDPOWER - because you have that power interms of SOLUTION. I have seen you in action before, X10 (okaylah 1 time only) I was amazed by how you can lead your client towards self-reflection and walking towards the healing path. Your soothing voice when you are in the therapy mood will pull one out of misery.
MAGIC - of course you got-lah, think of all the successful cases that you have wave your magic wand.
Btw, need to remind you again please de-role before you jump into another "GATE" (like SKYPE)

  2. Thanks to Melinda who shared about your experience of helping your client on the journey of healing and get to know a bit of you in relation to your working life.

'Change' like the word 'love' can sometimes be abused to suit our needs. We make a lot of effort to make changes in people's life or our lives, which is good in themselves, but sometimes can be quite oppressive- a subtle form of 'control', or 'denial', something I don't want to accept, let's change! Perhaps it is good to stay at where we are/I am/others and not thinking of change, and perhaps change begin to take place as we stay long enough with acceptance.

If I get it right, I remember The Zen Master used to tell us : Forget about the change and change will take place on its own........

  3. Hurt and pain, I have learn to enjoy them(not in a narcissistic way)just as I enjoy the fun and pleasure; knowing they are only good for the moment and will change with time. Unlike you I don't control time but allow it to flow and experience in my own limited way what i can.
Kudos X10, grateful for all your input

  4. I am with Elaine on this, the notion of Wu Wei is useful to consider, something that is more difficult to practice when the ego is always seeking to dominate....even in our attempt to 'want' what is 'good' for our 'clients' and believing in doing 'good' through an 'idealised' notion of a 'powerful' 'professional' etc 'therapist' that somehow we think we ought to be, to be of help. Worth exploring possibilities beyond this position.
