Reflection: 14.6.10

It's a amazing ride.... and i really enjoy flying together with the others
holding one hand, looking from the sky to the down
and meeting with the hanging stone
maybe just like what i see in avatar movie
and i find a code from the weird pattern stone
"  eno nesoohc eht emoclew"

hmm....some one can help to decode this?

  1. Ya, amazing was the true word, where did the notion of getting onto Phlox back and not thinking of anything just follow others for the journey. Where did the light comes from, why did the stone appeared, was this an barrier? The powerful of the unconscious mind. Wha hahaha.

  2. Is the holding together a part of our collective unconscious? for the need of team work and togetherness...Nothing can stop us from going beyond our imagination, it depends whether we are willing to tap on our unconscious mind...agree?

  3. 'Good luck, bad luck, who knows?' maybe I can share this story from Tony De Mello to you all. Is the stone a barrier or is it a stepping stone? A barrier can be an opening, an opportunity can be a closing to something else? it will take us to places where we would rather not to go...but the process can be liberating!
I Ling, maybe we can tease out the alphabets of the code and see what it contains
. Probably I will rearrange the alphabets and see the word hidden within- literally or symbolically. Need to send to the laboratory to the teasing and rearranging, and reading aloud to decode it. May take a bit of time!

  4. The code is spelled backwards of the phrase "Welcome the chosen one" if it helps. The psychic energy is real when it is being encountered, it can overwhelms us and drive us 'mad' or it can be exhilarating and transcends 'worldly' limitations, either way it could be the powerful 'dragons' that guards the threshold of the inner courtyard that may contain the treasures metaphorically speaking....I have mentioned a comment on 'stones' in another entry......about the archaic or primordial properties as potential symbolic attributes.

I see Elaine you have quoted De Mello, one of my favourite inspirational writers who like Joseph Campbell is able to draw the wisdom of humanity across the boundaries of time and culture. I am aware and saddened that such a brilliant contributer to the collective wisdom of humanity is considered an outsider, a 'heretic' within his own religious community and his works actively discouraged in the congregation see link - http://www.scribd.com/doc/11058003/The-Suspicious-Timely-Death-of-Father-Anthony-de-Mello-SJ

  5. 'No prophet is respected in his own town,' this goes the saying in the scripture! He/She has to stay at the fringe, not the centre, of the religious community as a religious 'outcast', and it is here the Hero Journey takes off.....

A religious order is to 'keep order' within the institution. No messy things can be tolerated! Silencing the prophet is the first step to maintain order and excommunication is the next course to take to kill her/him..

Many 'tony de mellos' live at the fringe of institution. The floor of the institution is too small and slippery to dance the Cosmic Dance. Prophets, enduring longsuffering, dance better in the market place, outside the Institution!

  6. By the way, Tony De Mello's works are not discouraged by his Jesuit congregation, but rather by the hierachical Church authority Joseph Card. Ratzinger, Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith that time, now the present Pope. I have in my formative years, and now still reading his books and practise the Sadhana.
